The short version
- We collect only what we need to run AgreeOps for your workspace.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We use a small set of service providers, listed below.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time.
Overview
This policy explains how AgreeOps (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit our website or use the AgreeOps platform, including the client portal.
It covers the information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account and workspace
Your name, email address, role or title, and workspace details such as company name, website, country and size.
Content you create
Agreements, documents, client records, comments and other content you add to AgreeOps.
Activity
Actions taken on agreements by you and your clients, such as approvals, versions, e-signature status, payment status and audit trail entries.
Messages you send us
If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email, company, topic and message.
Technical data
Session cookies that keep you signed in, and standard request data such as IP address and browser type processed by our infrastructure.
Data about your clients
When you add clients and share agreements with them, you provide us with information about those people and their companies. We process that information on your behalf, to run your workspace.
As the workspace owner, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to add that information and to share it through AgreeOps.
How we use information
- To operate AgreeOps: generate and store agreements, track approvals, handle e-signature and process milestone payments.
- To send service emails such as invitations, reminders and security notices.
- To keep the platform secure and prevent abuse.
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To maintain and improve the product.
We do not sell your personal data.
AI features
When you use an AI feature such as drafting or analysis, the relevant agreement content is sent to our AI provider to produce the result. AI features only process content when you choose to use them.
AI output can contain mistakes. Please review it before relying on it.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run AgreeOps. They process data only to provide their service to us, and may do so in countries other than your own.
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication and storage | Account, workspace and agreement data |
| Resend | Transactional email such as invitations, reminders and contact notifications | Recipient email address, name and message content |
| Groq | AI features such as drafting and analysis | Agreement content you submit to an AI feature |
| DocuSign | Electronic signature, when enabled by a workspace | Document and signer details |
| Payment providers | Payment collection, using the provider a workspace connects | Payment amounts and status |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of AgreeOps and its users.
Data security
Every workspace's data is isolated at the database level, data is encrypted in transit and stored on encrypted infrastructure, and access is controlled by role. You can read more on our Security page.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your workspace is active. Some records, such as audit trail entries, may be kept for as long as needed to maintain an accurate history of agreement activity.
You can ask us to delete your account and workspace data by emailing nihal@causly.in. Contact form messages are kept for as long as we need them to respond and follow up.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
To make a request, email us. We may need to verify your identity first. If your data was added by a workspace owner, we may direct you to them.
Children
AgreeOps is a business product and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
AgreeOps is evolving, and this policy will change with it. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will make it clearly visible.
